My name is Kaitlyn, I'm 19 years old, and I am the founder of The Hope Collective.
When our organization was founded, I was fighting some of the hardest battles of my life. Despite the despair that depression, anxiety, and PTSD brought me, I wanted to help others who were struggling with the same things.
Now, along with devoting a lot of my free time to working on expanding The Hope Collective, I enjoy painting, drawing, writing, and playing my ukulele.
I'm so passionate about helping others, and I love being the one responsible for the smile on someone's face. That's really the whole point of The Hope Collective, to encourage and support those around us, and it brings me so much joy to see that happening on a daily basis.
I fought these battles on my own, but I want to make sure that everyone we reach knows that they don't have to.
"Freedom isn't a destination, it's a state of mind." -Byron Katie
